Delvina West Emme

Delvina “Del” West Emme, age 94, of Silver Lake, MN died Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Cedar Crest Estates.

She was born in Saginaw, MN, in a log cabin, on February 8, 1930 the daughter of Michael and Alvara (Barnes) Bloom.

She was formerly employed as a secretary.  Del loved her cats.  She also enjoyed sightseeing, being on the farm, fishing, and visiting with her relatives.

Del was fond of David and Loralee Emme.

Survived by her loving husband Allen V. Emme; two grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law Jackie; former daughter-in-law Wendy; four nieces; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband Larry Hewes; and four sons:  Darryl, Roger, Robert “Bobby” and Dwight.

A Memorial Service for “Del” West Emme will be held at the Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 2:00 PM.  Pastor Dave Hormann will officiate.  Alice Nowak will be the organist.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 one hour prior to the memorial service.
